Day one

I decided to make a website!

At the start of this photography journey, I felt like a kite dancing in a hurricane.

Lightroom, Photoshop, memory card speeds, camera setup, lens options, and learning how to use it all. I was truly winging it. No real training other than high school photography classes.

Everything I learn is from trial and error, Youtube, and people who were more than generous with their time to help me out.

When I felt I had an image good enough to hang, I had it printed on canvas and realized I wanted to create something. Build something.

Something tangible.

Something that grabs your attention entering a room.

Something that did not need to be powered up or connected.

Something to makes you feel disconnected, even if it’s just a moment.

Something that stirs the soul.

And that something is what set me down this road to try and make what I envision into a reality.
