The need for speed.

This spring and summer I had the opportunity to photograph stock cars on a dirt track. It was nice to try a new discipline in photography. As much as I enjoy wildlife and landscape photography I started feeling stagnant.

Trying to keep the car tack sharp while blurring the background was a nice challenge. Capturing them in a way that you can feel the speed, and the excitement.

These individuals pour their free time, blood, sweat, and money following their passion, and It was nice to tell their stories through the photos.
